在上海的印度领事馆签到三个月有效，一次入境的个人旅游签证。虽然前辈们有不少游记在前，可是看到不少朋友还是提出这样或那样的问题，因此愿意把所知和朋友们分享。
印度签证非常容易。签证员（2位年轻人，一男一女），检查资料用时不超过5分钟，包括――护照，照片3张，财产证明，往返机票，申请表2份（建议照片和申请表多备几份，同时携带空白申请表，万一打印的表有误可以手填）。机票已出票，原件出示。财产证明只开到预计的旅程回国日后几天（2万元）。当时随身还带着户口簿、身份证、所有在印度期间的交通确认（已订好了各段机票和火车票），签证员对这些东西视若不见，只要前述必需的五件。签证员一边核对申请表和文件，一边随口问几个小问题，确认全部无误后，即开单去外面柜台付款。这样的旅游签证费用共331元，3个工作日后的下午4点－5点可以取。需要注意的是，印度领事馆在印度的节假日会休息，而中国的假日可能上班，请注意询问。
3日后，取到签证。问过里面的小姐，签证费没有发票可以提供。只有印度领事馆抬头的一张小小收据（英文）和签证页上标注的RMB 331可以作证明。
